Lya walked in, a certain confidence in each step. She was hydrated, happy, and so were her packmates. Hoplack of efully she wouldn't be going insane any time soon. The doting lack of water still continued, just less of an issue as of the moment. If Kylarad could just pull through tomorrow, if only. The female plopped down in the shade and tried to kill her desire for even more water. It was going to be a long day tomorrow...

Usdi trailed after Emiko, who walked with a certain sweep of her tail. She seemed... Arrogant. And very much so. Shrugging, the older pup went with it, keeping his eyes hooded to make it look like he was almost asleep.
Noquisi sat down beside Lya, licking a paw before laying down fully, breathes deep and quiet, for she was tired in this heat.

Ahava entered the Circle of Oaks feeling much better than the last time she was there. She looked around at the other wolves and did the same because she was tired, too tired to think of anything else, and so she lay down in the shade of one of the many oaks. It had been a very long day for her, and she was glad to lay down feeling hydrated.

(^Not really)
Kaeso's eyes were squinted, the drought taking its toll on the loner as well. They were, in fact, so squinted they didn't realize the wolf in front of them until, of course, he ran up on her. She turned, and looking rather surprised, Lya ask, "And who might you be?" with a quite unhappy tone. Her yellow eyes caught into his. The two appeared to be slightly cut from the same cloth, but were, actually, not. Kaeso noted this, and quietly stated "Oh, we look alike,". Lya was rather taken aback, but replied, "I don't know what you're getting at, but I'm afraid we aren't related if that's it,"
The male glared at the female a bit, but softened his gaze. Those eyes. They totally melted him. What was with her? She seemed so hostile but seemed like the friendly type. He answered humbly, "Nah, just saying you look like me, in a sense. My apologies, fair lady," he put in the 'fair lady' for emphasis.
Lya raised her eyebrows at the wolf. Fair lady? She honestly had to admit she liked him saying it. Her gaze softened a bit too, and backed up from the wolf. "Your name?" she ask. Perhaps she could allow him to stay in the pack for a while. She had to admit she had taken a liking to him - No! Not that feeling. She needed to get rid of it.
Kaeso answered with his name, and Lya replied with hers. "If you came for water, you aren't finding it here," the female stated matter-of-factly. Kaeso raised his eyebrows and assured the female that he was not expecting water, but rather company and that it was lonely out in the loner realm. After a lot of cooing, Lya eventually let him stay.

Heraclea was sitting under a tree, arguing with Ajax over something trivial, when she noticed the stranger talking to Lya. Overcome with curiosity, she romped over to him, sat down right in front of him so that he couldn't miss her and asked, "who are you? I'm Heraclea!"

Ahava picked up her head to the sound of many voices. "Hm?" She moaned, waking up and opening her eyes. There was Lya, Heraclea, and... Lya's brother? That can't be right. Ahava blinked to make sure her vision was cleared, got up, and approached the three-wolf crowd. She ducked her head to Lya in greeting and, instead of pestering the newcomer with the same question he was asked nearly three times, she jkust waited patiently for him to answer Heraclea's question.

Kaeso raised his eyes at the questioning pup and answered promptly with "Kaeso,". He also noticed the beige wolf approaching them, and greeted her with a slight nod of the head.
Meanwhile, Lya was silently cursing herself for allowing that wolf in her pack. He could be from Lycaon for all she knew!

Yanah looked from the stranger to Lya, slightly baffled. They were nearly identical. He seemed to throw her off too, because she looked like she was arguing with herself in her head. Yanah made that kind of face all the time. What was more interesting, she let him stay. Waggling her eyebrows at her colleague, the Satrap dipped her head to the newcomer. "Welcome, Kaeso. My name is Yanah, and the one who will be no doubt under your paws for the next hour is Heraclea," she introduced them. Slightly wary, Ajax hid behind his mother and watched from afar. So many strangers- but none of them would replace his father. He kept expecting Apricus to come trotting along like nothing had ever happened, but he knew deep down that it was only a silly wish.

Heraclea shot her mother a look and slunk back under her tree. As she flopped down a cloud of dust rose around her, causing her to sneeze.

Noquisi turned to Heraclea, whispering a short, "Bless you," before turning back to the newcomer.
Emiko stood up, stretching out her long limbs before turning to the new wolf. "Hello. It's nice to meet you. I'm Emiko." She said, blinking slowly. Her long lashes hooded her eyes to make her look more mysterious.

Kaeso was occupied with Lya for a moment or two, but eventually he had to turn around. A wonderful surprise awaited him. The wolf - whose name was Emiko - was quiet the wolfen beauty. All the while trying not to become one of those lovestruck males that probably fell at her paws often. He could quite tell, despite her feminine appearance and seductive ways, the female probably expected to be greeted by a calm and collected Kaeso. His thoughts were literally racing in his mind, occupying the seconds before he was going to reply to her, such as things to say, actions to make. He finally shoved himself forward and spoke in a tone that wasn't quite, wasn't loud, but rather a nice in-between, which hopefully would make the conversation much less awkward and hopefully prevent such unneeded feelings.
"Kaeso. You look nice," the male commented truthfully. He felt very strange inside.

"Hi Kaeso," Ahava said after Yanah had introduced herself. "I'm Ahava." then, looking between the new wolf and Emiko, who had just arrived, Ahava hadclearly detected that there was something going on with Kaeso. Of course she hid this just to make the wolf more comfortable. So instead, she just smiled. Like Yanah had said, she then added, "Welcome to Kylarad."

Emiko's pelt grew hot and her face was warm. Her stomach was a churning mass of feelings, not all bad. She saw how Lya had looked at Kaeso, and she saw how Kaeso reacted to her. Maybe... Just maybe... This would work. Emiko shuffled her paws uncomfortably, gazing back up at the young male. "Thank you. You look very nice, too." She almost-whispered, widening her eyes a little. Emiko wanted to watch any signals that Kaeso might give, so that she could respond correctly. She wanted to get to know him. Emiko wanted to talk to him.
