Cyanea nodded and ran back to her mother as fast as she could. "Momma! Can I go out exploring with one of Lycaon's leaders?" the pup asked breathlessly. She looked up, knowing her mother would be mad at her because she ran off without permission.

Upon hearing Cyanea's voice Eos sighed with relief. "Oh there you are," she said. "You had me worried sick! No you may not go exploring, you are staying right here with me. Never run off like that again!" Eos scolded. Then, roughly she lifted Cyanea by the scruff even though the pup was getting much too big to carry, and hauled her away to the dens before setting her down. Then she remembered the squirrel she had caught earlier and mentally cursed herself out for forgetting it. She had half a mind simply to leave it where she had left it in the decaying leaves, but eventually decided to return for it. There was no telling what sort of unsavoury creatures it might attract. "You stay here and I'll be right back. Don't even think about moving," Eos said firmly before bounding off to retrieve the squirrel.

It was getting darker and Cyanea was worried that Pandora would leave without her. The pup knew that she should listen to her mother. But she was really eager to explore. Cyanea knew that if she sneaked out, she would be caught by her mother. So she silently hoped that Pandora would be back there tomorrow.

(ooc; I was thinking that Cyanea could sneak away rebel style and meet pandora anyway, if that's okay with you?)

(OOC: Rebel style? XD Really? Alrighty then...)
No.... I won't let this stop me.... I'll just sneak away. It worked last time... Cyanea thought, smirking to herself. In a quiet and stealthy manner, the young pup sneaked out of the den and back into the forest. "P-pandora?" she called, unsure if the she-wolf was still there.

(ooc; idk. . . just seemed like she would get tired of Eos telling her what to do all the time and would want to rebel XP)
Pandora suddenly appeared between two nearby trees. Dusk was falling fast, stretching the shadows of the trees across the leafy ground. The black she-wolf's fur seemed to melt into these shadows before she appeared again a few feet away. "Yes?" she asked the pup, her voice tinged with curiosity while her eyes flashed red in the falling light.

"My momma said it was alright," Cyanea said quietly. She stood next to Pandora and looked up. "So where is this spot you wanted to show me?" the pup asked excitedly.

"Alright," said Pandora brightly before starting to lead the pup away. "It's just round the bend here near the river. Can you hear the water?" Pandora had never been very fond of pups and this one was no exception. They were just more mouths to feed. And not very quiet mouths either.
Eos returned to the den, dead squirrel flopping in her jaws. She had but placed a paw into the sheltered area before she realised Cyanea was missing again. With a low growl she spat out the squirrel, picked up her daughter's scent and began to pursue it into the woods.

Cyanea pricked her ears up and heard the soft sound of running water. "Yeah," Cyanea said quietly. She knew that by now, her mother had probably noticed her absence. She kept up with Pandora, eyes glowing with excitement.

Pandora lead the pup around a bend and the scene bloomed in front of them. Bushes with branches made heavy by berries grew thickly on the bank of a narrow stream. There were several different species of berries all of which could only be found in Lycaon territory, and all of which were deadly poisonous. With a sly smile Pandora looked down at her minuscule companion and said, "these bushes will protect you from predators and the stream is good for swimming in the summer. Would you like some berries?"

Cyanea took a glance at the berries, then her eyes trailed back to Pandora. "Are they safe to eat? Momma always said that some berries are poisonous...," the pup replied, going towards the bush to get a better look at the berries in question.

"Perfectly safe. I used to eat them all the time when I was your age. I'm afraid I don't have much of a sweet tooth anymore, though, but I hope you'll enjoy them," said Pandora smoothly, gazing absentmindedly around the place as if lost in thoughts of nostalgia.

"Alright," Cyanea said uneasily. There wasn't any reason to doubt a pack leader, was there? Slowly, she reached her head up and took a couple of berries in her mouth. They were slightly bitter to her, but she didn't mind as she downed them quickly. "They weren't that bad," Cyanea said, wanting to take another berry. But, she didn't want to eat too many and spoil whatever her mother had caught for a meal. "I have to get back now. I would have like to explored more. But my mother might be hunting the whole forest for me," the pup said, walking sluggishly in the direction of their den. The pup, shortly after departing from Pandora, found her mother searching for her. "Hi momma," Cyanea said sleepily.

"You are in so much trouble!" snarled Eos before noticing the glazed look in Cyanea's eye. "Are you sick? What's wrong?" she asked, panic rising in her chest as the pup began to sway on her paws.
Pandora lurked nearby, watching the pair and waiting for the pup to collapse from the poison.
