Heraclea bounded into the clearing, tongue lolling out as she ran. She came skidding to a halt, dead leaves scattering in her wake. "Ajax!" she called, eyes scanning the trees for any glimpse of her brother's golden fur.

ooc; I haven't played Noquisi for a while. So... Poof?
Noquisi padded into the clearing, looking around. Everything seemed skewed; different; not like home. Shaking off this feeling, Noquisi sat under a large tree and gazed around. Heraclea stood in the clearing with her. "Oh! Hello, Heraclea. What are you up to?" She asked, surprised.

"Hi," replied Heraclea brightly with tail wagging. "I was looking for Ajax. Have you seen him?" she asked the healer. She hadn't seen Noquisi in a long time, but the healer seemed as willing to help as ever.

((Sorry!))
Ajax came flying in from the opposite side of the clearing. He had circled all the way around to avoid suspicion, and was now panting heavily as he flopped down in front of Heraclea. "I'm.. here," he panted, sucking in much needed gulps of air. His little legs had never carried him so fast in his life.

Heraclea cocked her head as her brother flopped on the ground before her, gasping like a fish out of water. "Uhh, what's wrong with you?" she asked, giving her brother a look of mild distaste. Why did she have to get such a weird brother?

"Gee thanks, I love you too," Ajax wheezed, catching the look she was giving him. He was tempted to tell her straight up he had been watching them, but decided not to. "I went for a run. Got lost. Came back when I heard you howling for me," he lied with a shrug, sitting up.

Noquisi let out a soft chuckle. "I suppose I will let you two play, then. Have fun!" She barked, trotting away.
((Sorry it is so short...))

"Wait!" Heraclea called after the healer. "we can all go exploring together. And if Noquisi's with us then we won't be in trouble, right?" she asked the general audience. She looked from Noquisi to Ajax, hoping for their approval of her idea.

Great. The little yearling was exhausted, and now she wanted to go romping through the woods? In the rain? Yeah, he was the weird one. "Sure Heraclea," Ajax said, mustering as much enthusiasm as he could. He made it a point to be nice to everyone.

Chuckling to herself, Noquisi grinned. "Well, you might still get in trouble, but if I'm with you, then I would take the blame." She joked, turning around. "Where did you want to go?" She asked Heraclea, glancing over to Ajax. "You alright, Ajax?" She asked, concern washing over her features.

Heraclea thought for a moment before turning to her brother. "You can pick this time. Don't blow it and pick some place lame, though," she told him bossily.

Ajax's ears twitched, his expression changing to one of hurt as he was bossed around. Then it changed to anger, his temper, which was short from dehydration and exhaustion, breaking. "Who are you to say when I can pick and when I can't?" He snapped, his ears flat against his head. She was always mean to him, always! "I'm tired and I've had enough of you being mean to me when it suits you! Go and explore with yourself," he grumbled, taking a few steps away. He paused, turning his head slowly. "I'm fine Noquisi. Thank you for asking," he said, shooting Heraclea a glare before trotting a few yards away before circling and laying down with his back to them.
