Sooo..... This is a story i found that i wrote in 6th grade. It's absolutely horrible. Don't waste your time correcting it... Just read, cringe, and hate.
Have you ever been grocery shopping? I thought you have. The Rodulf family has, and for them it was a life changing experience. Here’s how: at about 7:00 pm The Rodulf family, Kris, Sydney, Dad, and Mom, went out shopping. There was a warm sunset with a gentle breeze. The Rodulf family has wanted to buy a new house for a while. As they were walking out of the store, Kris, a 14 ½ year old, saw a sign for a house for sale in Gettysburg. Mom wrote down the phone number and called the house owner. The Rodulfs went to see the house and made an offer.
The sellers accepted the offer for the house, and the Rodulfs moved in right away. The next night was a dark, moonless night. Thunder was booming, lightning was flashing. Right before Sydney fell asleep, she heard footsteps in the attic. She knows no one has been in the attic yet. Being a 6 year old little girl, and easily scared, she screamed. Not knowing what was going on, Kris heard only the scream and began to get worried. He called for Mom, and she came. Kris explained everything to Mom and she told Dad. Dad went up to the attic to look around. He didn’t see anything. Then in the same moment, a flash came down right outside the front door. The family heard the door open. Then they all saw it. A ghost of the battle at Gettysburg standing in their house! The family snuck out the back door as quiet as they could and jumped in the car. The ghost heard the car door slam. Dad and Mom discussed where they would drive. They decided on the battlefield. The ghost followed close behind on the way to the battlefield. The family had no idea of what was at the battlefield though.
When they got to the battlefield the sound of the car woke many spirits and ghosts. Now it wasn’t just one, but one thousand! The ghosts and spirits surrounded them. They were stuck in their car! Dad got on the phone with a policeman. When the policeman was getting to the area of the problem, he saw the ghosts. The policeman was a chicken and slammed the brakes and drove away as fast as he could. The family heard the tires screeching and knew that it was the policeman leaving. It turns out that they were up all night and through the morning because they saw the sun come out shining bright. A terrible scream went up. The family covered their ears and ducked. They looked around after the scream but all the ghosts were gone! The family thought this would only be temporary, then it would get worse.
It turns out, everything was fine for the rest of their lives. The family now lives in peace with both worlds. In three years the family is still doing great together. Kris got a job as one of those ghost hunters on TV, Sydney is keeping her grades up and Mom and Dad are still together. Actually, after the ghost attack the family is stronger. Everyone in the Rodulf family remembers the “Ghost Night” as they call it. But none of them speak much of it at all.
