Andraste looked at Achilles, it was true but Fotia was hostile. A bit more than necessary in her eyes, but she didn't want another fight. And much less on that she started, she had more restraint than that. "Natch really it is for your choosing we each have a strong pack. There are some differences though." She wasn't the person to speak about her pack, one of the higher ranking wolves should do that but she didn't want to risk threatening Achilles in anyway by calling them.

Vilk was sick of the bickering. "Enough. All of you. Just shut up! You lycaon wolves are causing more trouble than you're worth. There is a new wolf here, and you stand in front of him bickering? I'm not sure how things work over 'cross the river, but here we tend to welcome our guests." Vilk took in a breath, held for a little, and then let it out. Staring at the wolves surrounding him, Vilk wondered how long it would be before somewolf attacked him. He would fi.ght if attacked. While the odds are against him... he could still try.
ooc; the longest thing Vilk has ever said?

Achilles let out a snarl at the wolf, the Kylardian, that spoke. He clawed at the ground, picking up bits of dirt and then stepping on them. He knew he should back off, but who was this wolf to question his authority. Stepping forward, Achilles stood just at the border, snout reaching to the line. "I dare you." he growled, eyes blazing. "I doubt this is about the new wolf anymore. Are you sure you aren't just afraid of us?" he snarled, fur bristling.

Vilk looked at the one leader of the other pack. He said nothing. But his eyes held not anger but humor. This wolf thinks that he could beat him in a fight. Vilk was not afraid to die right here. If the time arose, he would fight until his chest stop moving and his heart stopped beating. This wolf will fight with only pure rage. Pure rage means mistakes. Vilk almost smiled.

Andraste looked at Vilk to Achilles, "This is nothing about your power! Vilk don't start anything without thinking it through," though she doubted that he would, "we don't want another fight. It would do nothing but start a war between packs." It was pointless to start anything now and with the pups... that was a major weakness. No to mention they were out numbered at the moment. "Natch, if you want to join a pack say so now, i really don't want to explain why a fight broke out here." She wasn't angry at Natch even though her words were tight and controlled. It was this whole, 'who's tougher thing'.

Vilk only smirked at what Andraste had to say.

Fotia would not let this male toy with her mind. In her opinion, he was trying to get them to fight. "Stop this" she snarled. "If you expect us to fight, you are wrong. And you," she said, turning to Andraste. "You have no right to challenge our authority. Let the wolf decide who he wants." And with that, she left with a cold feel, narrowing her eyes at the two on the other side of the border. To be honest, she had embarrassed herself. Fotia wasn't used to lashing out like this, and she needed to think for a moment. "Looking back at her mate, she wondered when they would have pups. That was the whole point of mating, yes?

Honestly, Vilk was glad Fotia had left. Although she was far from right. He didnt want a fight. Had there been a fight, he wouldve immediately jumped in. But he did not, per se, want a fight. I believe they are the ones causing the trouble here. Are they not? Vilk thought. With that he turned his attention back to the new wolf. "So..." It was all he could manage.

"I'm join the Kylarad," Natch decided, in order to put an end to all the foolish bickering. He turned towards tha group and dipped his head. "Lead the way."

Andraste smiled at Natch, "Alright. Goodbye," She added to the other wolves. Not saying anything more to them, really she was just as tired of all the bickering as Natch. She turned around and started to walk away, And we add another wolf to the pack, maybe we wont be so weak in in the Lycaon pack's eyes anymore. Not that we ever were weak in the first place.

Achilles rolled his eyes, but was careful to not let the others see it. He quickly left the clearing after his mate, angry at the wolves.

Vilk was pleased with the wolf's decision. He walked beside Andraste, gesturing with his tail for the new wolf to follow along.

Armell stalked her prey, each movement fluid and silent. Unsuspecting, her target remained motionless near the border. Bunching her muscles, she shoved off from the ground and landed paws first on top of Fotia. Without giving her a chance the new, and only, Kingios ripped her jugular out. She stood, watching the blood pool around the past leader's neck fur, then turned and walked away.
