They ignored her. All three of them. Emptiness and embarrassment surged through Ahava at the same time Emi left. She payed no attention to Yanah's confession, just becausshe felt a bit... crushed. She felt belittled even though nobody had even said a word to her. Maybe I should just leave... After all, how could she even have the confidence after spilling her feelings of which nobody paid any heed to? And, with that, the Satrap turned around to leave. But not yet, though.

"Come back, and pay the consequences if you do so," Yanah snarled after her, tail curling and fur spiking despite the onslaught of rain. Turning, she noticed Ahava leaving out of the corner of her eye. "And where are you going? Did it ever occur to you that being a leader meant actually leading? That you don't get to be the quiet little female listening from the back, you have to take charge. A fat lot of help you've been doing, watching us argue," she snapped, lashing her tail and sending droplets everywhere. Now that she'd gotten worked up, she was on a roll. She whirled on Lya this time, her teeth bared. "What were you thinking, sinking to her level? You only goaded her on! There's a difference between reprimanding and trying to insult someone; as a leader you're supposed to be above that. Instead you tried to make her mad, just because she enticed you too AND because she hurt your feelings," Yanah growled brutally. Must I tell my life's story every time something happens just to get things done correctly? She thought crossly, anger radiating off of her in waves. The tension on her was so strong you could smell it through the rain.

Lya became somewhat piqued at this, but knew she had it coming. After all, she had egged that capricious wolf-witch. She quietly filled her mouth up with air and puffed it out in a blasé sort of way. She had an exasperated manner about her as this wolf before went completely mad and the other was sure to burst out crying any second now.
Lya didn't have a big opinion on Emiko's leaving. She had changed, and nobody needed an insane wolf running around killing everybody. Better her than everybody else.

Yanah's yelling at Ahava made her feelings fly everywhere. And most of them didn't feel too great. She jumped, but then turned around to face Yanah. But shewill not break like this Satrap did. Two wrongs don't makea right. "You nearly left without me, leaving my own doubts about myself. You two also kept many things from me. Did I matter as a Satrap? That's for you to answer. But how can I carry myself that way? There are three Satraps for a reason; we have to work together, not leave the "quiet little female" out. No, I'm not playing little bullied wolf. I'm telling you why I'm this way," she said softly but firmly, staring staright into her eyes. But now that she had said what has been eating away at her, she now couldn't care less if Yanah found fault for her standing up for what's true and bit right back.

Yanah barked a laugh, a harsh sound coming from her throat. "You could've come on your own and ASKED what was going on. We weren't keeping secrets, we were doing our jobs! If you would step up for once and join in a conversation, maybe you wouldn't be so clueless all the time," she snapped. Her hackles rose, daring Ahava to say something back. For some reason she had given way to aggression instead of feeling relief after sharing her secret, and there was no telling what she would do. Lifting her head and ears, she glared the younger wolf in the eye and tried to force dominance over her.

Finally, the hurt from both comments hit her. Why had she even said something? She barked out of grief, but snapped her mouth shut. She definitely was going to be attacked! And so, she turned around and bolted.
Coward. Coward. I'm a terrible Satrap! She said it herself..! Ahava lacked so much self esteem right now. Yanah confirmed her doubts. Right then, she wanted to die. She would never have the courage to include herself, and Yanah knew it! But still she felt excluded, a waste. The only wolf who didnt know a darn thing about what was going on. Stupid. Hated. Useless. Yes, she felt like hurting herself. This is what always happens to the shy ones. Especially when it takes Ahava a long time to get over something.

Yanah curled her lip in triumph, lowering her muzzle and watching through baleful eyes as Ahava bolted. Turning, she sneered at Lya and hissed, "Anything to add?" Her chest rose and fell as she panted, slightly crazy. Something inside her had snapped- maybe lack of rest, lack of water, stress, or all three. Regardless, her mental faculties seemed to have retreated into safety as her inner-insanity ran rampant. She was liable to do anything; do anything and never think twice about it. In fact, she was just short of going on rampage and wouldnt stop until she found satisfaction or was rendered unconscious.

Lya reached the pinnacle of her frown as Ahava took off in the pouring rain and Yanah went completely elk shit. Honestly, did Emiko set her off that much? It would be silly that she had made her that angry. She had fallen victim to the wolf's conniving ways. Lya slowly plopped down into the soaked ground, splattering mud and water alike a short ways. She was soaked to the bone, and was actually cold and shivering. It was a safe bet she felt miserable.
Lya's frown loosened a bit as she spoke to Yanah. "You're doing just what she wants, you know," the words came out quietly. She continued even more so, "You are letting her get to you," and with that, she stood and followed Ahava as best as possible. The rain had cleared out most of the scent.

Yanah lashed her tail and prepared a stinging retort, but Lya had walked off after Ahava. "Surrounded by blithering idiots," she spat, glaring at the ground as her mind worked. This had absolutely nothing to do with Emiko, but Lya was too simple minded to see that. She inhaled, making a sound like a dragon snoring, and tore off through the rain. If she couldn't make her fellow Satraps pay, then someone else had to. As she picked up the pace she howled, but with the added thunder it sounded more like a sinister warning instead of a call.
