Lya quietly slipped into the Circle of Oaks. A grim mask covered what was once a blithe wolf as she waited for Yanah to spill what Emiko had done. She had always been a little suspicious of that perky wolf ever since she had left for the mountains, but kept quiet. Nobody likes a leader who distrusts her own pack.
She looked to Yanah with a concerned look about her.

Yanah's ears were laid back the entire time as she followed Lya, her fur raised. "That conniving little wretch claims she knows my secret and will share it with the pack if need be. I'll stand for a lot of things, but blackmail is not one of them," she growled, lashing her tail repeatedly. "The time she spent in the mountains must have corrupted her. Leaving her as a Tiritus could put the pack in danger if she goes nuts in a time of need," she went on, pawing up soil in her anxiety. She was concerned that her affair with Helios would be outed- even Lya didn't know who it was, only that it was indeed someone from Lycaon. Despite her fears, she was also concerned with the well being of Kylarad. Locking gazes with Lya, she said, "Your bias aside, what do you think about this?"

As Yanah spoke, Lya's ears perked intently forward. It was true that she had a bias, but blackmail was definitely unacceptable. Even more so to the leaders of the pack. That childish wolf could have her ears ripped off if a Satrap desires to. She tried to stay solemn as to not show her outrage, but it didn't seem to be working.
She bit her tongue through the entire speech and proceeded to speak in a very ornery and sharp manner, "If she thinks she can just waltz in here and do... all this, she is very wrong. She needs to be dealt with, right this instant. We should go get her right now... Right?" Her breathing began to get heavier the angrier she got.

Yanah thought long and hard, memories of the sweet Emiko grappling with ones of the bad Emiko. She didn't want to... And yet they had to. For the good of the pack. "Right. She leaves us no choice. Be careful though, she may get aggressive," she warned, her hackles raising. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. "Kaeso will most likely follow her if we kick her out," she added silently

Lya nodded and marched back to the hunt. She glowered as she walked, Emiko's drastic change was very puzzling. What happened to that sweet, sensitive wolf from before? As she continued on, it boggled her even more. Maybe she never actually went to the mountains? No, no. She had no business elsewhere, seeing as all other land in the area is claimed.
