Personality: Maya is very passionate in an overly dramatic way. She loves anime and likes to impersonate anime heroines, oftentimes to the annoyance of the other students. In general she distrusts others and is difficult to get along with, but over time learns her place and mellows out. When her opinions are questioned she becomes defensive and will relentlessly argue her point of view until her opponent gives up. However, this persistent and passionate side of her is only a fraction of her character. She struggles with self-esteem and fitting in and rather than taking criticism in a constructive way she becomes defensive and argumentative. She knows that her attitude doesn’t win her many fans but she doesn’t know how to change it and feels like no one would want to help her change anyway due to how she treats them. As time progresses, however, her social skills do improve and the other students warm up to her. (c) sunny

Backstory: Her family was generally not very rich - not poor, though. Since a young age she'd always been interested in clothes and fashion and always wanted more clothes. Her family never really understood - none of them were ever particularly interested in this stuff, so why was she? Eventually they began agreeing to buy her clothes in exchange for her helping with chores. She often stays up very late at night, sometimes into the next day, looking at clothes online and her sleeping pattern is very messed up.

Personality: Tends to be a bit naive, usually carefree. Mostly happy and enthusiastic about life, fearing death. She finds it ironic that with her "good luck" she was thrown into a school-life of mutual killing, especially since her greatest fear is dying. Very optimistic. Although she doesn't seem like it, she's actually very observant and notices little things. She has trouble talking to people she doesn't know, but always tries to be friends with as many people as she can.

Likes: Justice and order, gaming and steampunk fashion.

Dislikes: Overbearing, intense people and serious situations or conversations

Backstory: Her father used to abuse her mother and big sister, even before she was born. The abuse continued until one day he attempted to strangle her mother and went to jail for three years. Even after all of that, she still has visitation with him. Through all of this despair, her good luck formed. Her father never laid a hand on her. However, this made her other family members look at her with contempt, the "golden child that never gets hurt". But then her life got flipped turned upside down and her good luck prevailed in being accepted into Hope's Peak Academy, a place where she could finally escape her crazy home-life.

Personality: Hes very hard thinker and he tends to overanalyze things a lot, especially during trials. He isnt very outgoing and is generally kind of aggressive during conversation unless you're very good friends with him. He likes to work independantly although he always takes others testimonies into account. He tends to put on a front that nothing really phases him but honestly the whole prospect of being locked in a school and being forced to kill his friends is very heavy. He likes things to be generally simple.

Likes: Daytime, bread, peace and quiet, large dogs, rice.

Dislikes: Flamboyant people, loud cities, train stations, buses

Personality: Really laid-back and gullible. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Having moved to Japan from America, he sometimes says things that don't make sense or messes up his grammar. Also, he often tries to sell the others marijuana.

Likes: The ocean (surfing duhherr), shrimp ramen, and the color green

Dislikes: Arguments and fighting.

Personality: Very enthusiastic about boybands and will yell at you if you insult them. Ariheaded and stubborn most of the time and occasionally condescending. Has made so many One Direction shirts you don't even know.

Likes: Boybands, frogs, and adorable chibi kawaii things like puppies and kittens. Tends to obsess over rainbows.

Dislikes: Adults, maturity, people with low self-esteem, cherry-flavored anything.

Other Appearance: He wears a dark-colored, short-sleeved dress shirt along with dark pants and nice shoes. His silver watch can always be seen on his wrist.

Personality: Being a con artist, Victor is outwardly friendly, charismatic, and social. He’s very attentive and notices small details about people’s actions and moods. He is able to tell what people are thinking but he cannot relate to them. Victor is very sly and is known for his under-handed tricks. He is also very capable in many fields, having had experiences throughout his life.

Likes: Money, shiny things, lying, foxes

Dislikes: Human relationships, getting caught, faux items

Backstory: Growing up Victor lived mostly by himself. His parents were always somewhere, only staying home for a couple of days at the longest. His older brother George was his parental figure. George was always telling Victor, “Don't ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody.” Because of this, Victor learned to stray from connecting to people. Also, while growing up Victor would be manipulated by his older brother. George always tricked Victor into doing what he wanted. From this he learned the art of manipulation. Combining lies, manipulation, and lack of intrapersonal relations, Victor became the perfect con man.

Name: Evelyn (Eve) Tyson

Hair: Eve has straight, waist length white hair and has a tendency to tuck the left strand behind her ear. When people try to talk to her she oftentimes plays with a strand of it in order to avoid eye-contact.

Height: 5’2”

Weight: 121

Other Appearance: Eve’s line of work causes her to have to dress semi-professionally while still being able move and run in case of evil spirits. She wears sensible clothes in the form of a black pleated skirt that stops about halfway up her thighs, tall socks with black trainers, a white button-up blouse with sleeves that reach her elbows and a black tie (sort of like kirigiri but without the jacket and gloves and with different shoes/socks).

Perhaps the most interesting and memorable part of her image are the three pale scars that stripe her right cheek, almost like cat whiskers. She received them on the job during an unfortunate encounter with a demon, but she tries to hide the scars behind her long hair.

Being fairly small people often think she’s younger than she is which sometimes annoys her but at other times works to her advantage. She is light on her feet and her small stature allows her to squeeze into tight spaces, such as a gap under a grave yard fence, which makes it easy for her to quietly slip away when things start to get dangerous.

Personality: Eve is the kind of girl to never give anything away. She keeps a blank expression and rarely associates with the other students. Despite her quiet nature, she’s insatiably curious and likes to know all the details of everything that’s going on around her which occasionally inspires her to talk to the other students. She is also highly superstitious and is a firm believer in luck and the power it holds over everyone. Having spent so much time talking to the dead she can be socially awkward and uncomfortable around other people.

Likes: good luck, quiet, cats, the paranormal, the dark, anything associated with the dead

Dislikes: bad luck, people who talk too much, evil spirits

Super High School Level: Paranormal Investigator

Backstory: When she was 9 she witnessed her mother commit suicide and, needless to say, was rather traumatized by the whole thing. She became a paranormal investigator in order to try to communicate with her mother’s spirit and ask her why she did it. Through her years of work she has discovered that she can talk to the spirits, but they can’t talk to her.

After her mother's death she lived with her father, but he rarely had time for her and so she spent most of her time learning how to summon and communicate with the dead, but no matter how hard she tried she could not summon her mother's spirit. Desperate to talk to her, she began going off on her own to churches, grave yards and other places of spiritual significance. For years she talked to and put to rest many lost souls, but still she could never find her mother’s spirit. Her greatest fear is that her mother’s soul has gone to a place beyond her power to reach.

Hair: She has long, straight black hair that's tied up in a ponytail. She often gets tired with her natural hair colour and she¡¦s planning to dye it chestnut brown to fit in with the other players of the team.

Weight: 190 lbs

Other Appearance: Since she is a volleyball player, she usually wears a navy blue spandex uniform and shorts that are tight to endure her flexibility and concentration during a game.

Personality: She's very athletic and easy-going. She demonstrates a good leadership towards her fellow teammates and wishes them all the best during a match. However, she becomes really bossy at times when the team does not co-operate the way she wanted, which makes her very angry and persuades her to quit the team for good, but she doesn't because she knows that her teammates need her in order to be successful in a match and without a team captain, they're dead.

Likes: Loves volleyball, especially spiking it, cheerleaders, victory, teamwork and screaming fans.

Dislikes: Hates when her teammates talk behind her back and when they don't say "mine" in a volleyball game. She also hates short people because she thinks that they can¡¦t play volleyball.

Personality: He loves the spotlight and being the center of attention . . . when he has his instrument. Off stage Brandon tends to stay away from people, talking to only a select few. He is normally good at controlling his temper, and when he loses it tends to walk away. Despite having received a lot of it in his career, Brandon does not receive criticism well.

Likes: New music smell, valve oil, appreciative crowds

Dislikes: People, small spaces, criticism, sticky keys

Backstory: He grew up with a good family life. His older brother had picked up an instrument, but later gave it up. This inspired Brandon to pick up an instrument, getting his first trumpet when he was in elementary school. He fell in love with it and decided to try out new instruments and quickly learned these. His parents had decent-paying jobs and were able to provide him with music, lessons, and instruments. He was fast to learn the variety of instruments and was always the top player in a variety of percussion, wind, and string instruments. He participated in many national and international bands, which is what got him noticed by Hope’s Peak, and lead to the eventual acceptance letter.

Personality: She is a sociable, reliable and intelligent girl. She handles with children very well and likes to have them by her side for company.

Likes: Loves summer camps and recreation, playing with kids, nature activities, and many more.

Dislikes: Hates when kids fight over something really stupid and when other counsellors bosses her around.
