OOC: Should we just go to the next morning?
IC: Cyanea twitched slightly in her sleep as she felt her mother move around. The young pup inhaled deeply and let out a small sigh as she slipped into a deeper sleep.

ooc; Hm... Yes. It has been more than two days, so...
IC; Eos sat up from where she had fallen back asleep. Getting her bearings, Eos calmed her worries about where she was and turned to Cyanea. "Cyanea... It's time to wake up. We can go meet the other wolves, today." She whispered, nudging her daughter gently.

Cyanea blinked her eyes and looked up at her mother drowsily. "Huh?" she asked, stifling a yawn, "Did you say 'meet the other wolves'?" The pup stretched and let out a content sigh.

Eos nodded, smiling. "Come on. Let's go get some food, then we can meet the wolves." She said, touching the tip of her nose to Cyanea's head. "Won't that be nice?"

"Yes. Food sounds good," Cyanea laughed, hearing her stomach rumble. The pup pricked her ears up as the sound of rustling grass could be heard in the distance. Cyanea darted towards the grass, but stopped in her tracks as she remembered what she had learned: A good hunter never charges into the situation unless they're sure it's okay.

Eos watched her daughter run forward, then stop sharply and pause. She tilted her head curiously, wondering what on this good world she was doing. "Are you alright, Cyanea?" She chuckled, frowning nervously. Had she heard something in the trees?

"There's something in the grass over there, momma. I'm not sure what it is.....," Cyanea said, turning back to look at her mother. The young pup went back to her mother. "Can we get something to eat now? I'm starving," Cyanea giggled, hearing her stomach growl once more.

Eos nodded, praise in her eyes. The pup knew not to run headfirst into the bushes. Sniffing the air, Eos crouched and padded silently forward, careful not to step on dry twigs or leaves. Once close enough, she darted into the brush and scared a young rabbit out of hiding. The older wolf followed the rabbit quickly around bends and over logs, but it met with her strong paws on its neck before too long. Good thing, too, for she could see the hole it was escaping to under a bush. Dragging the rabbit back, Eos smiled. "Eat up." She laughed.

"Yay!" Cyanea cheered, beginning to eat. She had to make sure to save some for her mother in case they couldn't find another piece of kill. "Momma? Are you gonna eat?" the pup asked, licking her muzzle to clean it.

Eos shook her head, a wide smile on her face. "No, that's alright, sweetie. You eat it. I will find another piece." The other wolf told her daughter, padding away just as her stomach growled loudly. She was starving, but Cyanea was smaller than her and she needed more energy. Soon, though, Eos caught a smaller, more scraggly-looking rabbit, and carried it back to Cyanea, sitting down and beginning her meal. Life was going to get better for the two. Eos just knew it.

"So momma? How far away is the pack?" Cyanea asked between bites.

Eos thought for a moment. "Well, I'm not sure... We could head back to the rock place we went to before and see if anyone is there." She suggested, taking another bite of her rabbit.

"Okay. I'm ready," Cyanea said, finishing her last bite of the rabbit. The pup tilted her head as a grasshopper hopped up from the grass and landed on her paw. She lifted her paw slowly so that she didn't scare it. Cyanea stared at it for a while before it hopped back into the grass, making her giggle.

Eos smiled, standing up. "Alright, then. Come on. Let's hope we meet some interesting wolves." She said, beaming at Cyanea. Eos was positive that today was going to turn out well.

Cyanea felt excitement begin to build up. She bounded after her mother, head held high as she ran through the grass. Then she had a sudden realization. "So which way is Lycaon? Is it far?" the pup asked. She hoped that the camp wasn't too far. She didn't want to walk a long way.
