Eos walked carefully through the lush grasses, nudging her pup forward. "Come on, Cyanea, we're nearly there." She gently encouraged, seeing a small clearing come into view. Two trees formed a wall from the south, and the tall grasses made for a soft bed for the tired she-wolf. "I'm glad I found this, Cyanea. Now, we can rest." She smiled, stopping for a moment to take it all in. "Go ahead. Go see for yourself." Eos whispered, sitting down.

Cyanea followed her mother, almost collapsing in exhaustion as she finally caught up. But as she entered the clearing, her eyes got big. "Momma? Where are we? It's so pretty here," Cyanea whispered in awe, taking in all that she could see. The pup looked at her mother with curiosity behind her eyes. "Are we gonna live here, momma?" Cyanea asked quietly, sitting down beside her mother.

OOC: Not sure. Noquisi didn't tell me that much. My best guess is that they're pretty close to Lycaon territory. But you'd have to ask Noquisi.

Ooc; This is in Lycaon territory. Eos spoke with the leaders and I was under the impression they were letting her stay. I lost the actual topic, so I just decided to move on... Sorry if that was wrong.
IC; Eos nodded, a small smile taking over her features. "Yes, we are, darling. This is where we will be for a while. It is a pack called, "Lycaon." The leaders agreed to let us stay with them. Do you like it so far?" Eos asked, hoping the pup said something positive. She was so hard to please sometimes.

ooc; Nah, it's fine. I kind of lost the trail of Eos and Cyanea's story and I was going to have pandora reply to this, but I guess she's already talked to them sooo. . . I'll get out of your thread now XP sorry for the interruption.

Cyanea looked at her mother. "Lycaon, huh? They've got a nice territory. I wonder what their leaders are like. They must be nice to let us live here! This place is amazing, momma!" the pup exclaimed, suddenly full of energy. She began to bound around her mother happily. "Do we get to meet other wolves? Are there pups my age? Are there, momma?" Cyanea asked excitedly.

ooc; Actually, if you want, Sunny, you can have Pandora come and talk to them again, or something. Like... Checking up on them? If you want.
Eos sat down, exhaustion making her features droop. Cyanea was so excited and happy that even though she was tired, Eos put on a smile. "I'm not sure, sweetie. I just talked to the leaders and they seemed very generous and kind, which is all that matters right now. Tomorrow, after we've both rested, we might be able to go out and explore the territory and meet the other wolves. I'm not sure if there are other pups here," she said, frowning slightly.

ooc; hmm. it's more likely she would stalk them from a distance hoping one of them spills some dark, reputation-destroying secret that she can use to black mail them into obeying her. Yeah, I think I'll do that :3
Pandora slithered through the forest, looking for some innocent wolf to ruin when she happened across the two new recruits. Pausing, she listened in to the pair's conversation and was disappointed by the lack of black-mail material. Rolling her eyes at the sickening sweetness the two wolves referred to each other with, she slipped a little closer and lay down in the leaves to spy some more.

Cyanea stopped in her tracks, looking at her mother. "I really hope I'm not the only pup there. There has to be at least one pup besides me living there!" she said, looking around the territory once more. Suddenly, Cyanea asked, "Will the pack like us, momma?"

Eos let out a long laugh, feeling more free than she had in weeks. "Even if they don't like me, they're bound to love you, honey. I wouldn't see anyone not loving you." She giggled, nuzzling her daughter affectionately. "Now, I'm sure you're more excited than ever to meet the wolves, but I'd love it if you could rest. As soon as we're wide awake and ready to face the world, we can go explore." Eos promised, laying down on the soft grasses. Her eyelids were already drooping.

Cyanea let out a yawn and curled up next to her mother. "Okay momma," the pup yawned, closing her eyes. Before she knew it, Cyanea fell into a deep sleep.

Eos was just curling up when she felt something watching her. Slowly turning around, she was met with the dark forest. Eos licked down the raised fur and shook off her unease as she curled up next to her child.
Soon, Eos was woken up with the noises of the forest loud in her ears. She was uneasy, again. It was this whole "pack" thing. Eos had grown accustomed to being on her own and surviving for herself and Cyanea. "I need to relax. There's nothing coming for us." She whispered to herself, but not falling back asleep. She would watch the sun rise. Then she would feel safe. It was always better when the sun was up.
