•• Roleplay the Announcement Rock here. Be sure to read the description in the sub- board.

Armell limped into the clearing, her paw leaving a trail of blood and her jaw hanging askew. With a moan she flopped down in the center, muscles aching. As much as it was imperative that she convince her pack mates, it also really did hurt. "Some chap help me," she whined. Hopefully, along with starting a war, she could get some medical attention. She shifted slightly, yelping when it moved her jaw.

Achilles padded into the clearing, eyes full of questions. When they locked on his pack mate, he let out a tiny gasp. "Armell? What is the cause of this?" he asked, eyebrows narrowing as he rushed to her side. "Are you alright?" he asked, leaping onto the rock and letting out a large howl. It shook his body with the loudness of the call and he once again rushed to her side.

Armell quivered as Achilles rushed towards her, as though she feared it was her assailants. She relaxed, however, when she recognized him. Oh, was she milking this. "Th-they ambushed me. Some Kylarad chaps. I-I was patrolling the border when I heard a whine. I couldn't abandon a body in distress y' know, so I went over the border lookin' for the injured beast. When I called out the whinin got louder, so ah took it upon m'self to run and help them. Not ten bounds into the blinkin' territory before two of em jumped me. 'Twas an ambush! I fought tooth and nail, but they caught me by surprise." Armell looked up at Achilles with a kicked-puppy look, and asked, "Why would they trick me? What did I do? I was only trying to help." She shook her head, causing her oversized ears to flap back and forth. It was really starting to hurt, trying to talk with a dislocated jaw.

Pandora, hearing Achilles' howl, slunk into the clearing. She spared the writhing Armell a sideways glance before continuing on to her spot on the rock. The bumbling fool had probably walked herself off a cliff or something of that nature, Pandora assumed without bothering to listen to Armell's explination of what exactly had happened. She lay down on the flat part of the rock and started to pick the briars out of her fur with her teeth while she waited for the subject of the meeting to become clear. Not once did it cross her mind that Armell actually was the reason for the meeting.

Fotia bounded in, spotting her mate next to Armell. "What's wrong? Why did you call a meeting?" she questioned, then her voice trailed off as she saw the sticky red liquid flowing from her packmate's body. "Oh Gods" she gasped, and hurried over. "What should we do, Achilles?" she whispered, with slight shock.

Armell stared pointedly at Pandora, as though they were both in on some joke, and she'd delivered the punch line. "What d' we do? This was a blinkin' act of war! The rapscallions are testing us!" She bared her teeth, which looked strange considering her jaw didn't fit correctly. This caused her to wince, waggling her jaw back and forth. Grimly she said, "H' I've never met the likes of such villains. I dunno why they're after war, but I say we give it to em. A little blood n' vinegar oughta teach them which pack is on top." She looked from Fotia to Achilles, starting to look desperate. "If we don't retaliate, they'll think they can walk all over us! The next thing y'know, they're strollin' into the middle a' camp an taking food," she explained with urgency. Lifting her red-stained paw she muttered, "Blood for blood."

Wrinkling his nose in anger, Achilles circled Armell. "So you're telling me that those Kylaradians, our idiot neighbors, ambushed you and left you for dead." Achilles was blind with fury. How dare they?! Achilles hopped onto the rock, claws scraping angrily against the hard, rough surface, and sat down, waiting for the others to join him in the clearing. His tail lashed in annoyance and rage. "Fotia, he makes a good point. It's high time we showed those fools who's on top." He muttered to the she-wolf.

Morzan padded up. "What's going on now?" He said rather boredly.

"We're going to war." Achilles announced, glancing at Fotia. "This has gone on long enough."

Morzan's ears perked and he was finally interested in something around here. "War, you say? I'm guessing Kylarad. Those no good have been giving me trouble. Now im allowed to fight back. Not that that stopped me before... Anyway, what reason is there for war? What happened that made you declare war?"

Armell had to hide the grin that threatenned to dominate her face. Was it really that easy? She knew Pandora and a few others had been trying to start things between the packs, but they made it look difficult. Ha. Ha ha. When Morzan asked she answered," That'd be me, laddybuck. Those brute types jumped me. The only option is t' get payback; put the ruffians in place wot." It was at this moment that the beta's eyes rolled back back into her head, and she promptly lost consciousness. This wasn't an act though, she truly was unconscious. The fight hadn't been enough to make her pass out or look so horrible, so she'd slammed into a few tress on her way back. Needless to say, it had been too much. She hadn't taken passing out into account, but it would probably help as it would infuriate her pack mates into a quick war. If the two Kylarads pleaded innocent, well, Armell had the battered body to prove they were not. All of this was expressed in a single thought before the unconsciousness took hold.

Pandora rolled her eyes as the overly dramatic Armell passed out. The she-wolf really did need to work on her acting, fortunately for her, her pack mates were idiots. Also working in Armell's favour was the fact that Pandora had been trying to start a war herself. Pandora stood, shook out her freshly groomed ebony pelt and said, "Well, are we waiting for an invitation? Better strike now while the blood's still running hot." Not waiting for anyone else's approval, she started off at a steady pace towards the Kylarad border.

Morzan turned and followed right behind Pandora, mentally preparing himself for war.

Zeev trotted in taking in everthing. "What happened?" He asked quietly before taking in the words of war. "Why would they attack? The Kylarad pack has never been that sort of violent before." But of course he didn't want to seem like he was being more loyal to their pack then to his own. He swallowed hard, "Wh-when do we take action?"

"Armell?" Lazuli said immediately as the fainted wolf had come into view. It had been Armell who helped her bury Lapis, although that shouldn't have brought her to feel more for the once-cheery wolf; it seemed like she was doing it halfheartedly now that Lazuli thought of it. Shaking her head to clear her head, she asked, "What now? Shouldn't we..." -she struggled to get the word out right- "attack?" She trotted over to the crowd around Armell and peered down at her, her thoughts still threatening to pull her out of staying present again.
