"And watch your back. It's possible for a certain black pup to be wandering around." Loloudi said, padding into the scene from the meeting. "I'm Loloudi." She took a seat, still not looking up. Her dull and glassy eyes remained staring at the watery black rocks.

"Oh, alright. See you at the meeting," Lazuli sighed as she went another way out of the area, suddenly fearing the chanced that Lapis might be there, awaiting her arrival to punish her.

Armell finally stopped running at the wide bank and collapsed, breathing heavily. She was a great runner, but even she could barely handle the distance she'd just run at a sprint. For a while she glared at herself in the water's reflection, then promptly passed out after to succumbing to exhaustion.

Lya motioned for her packmates to come to the pitiful rivulet flowing in place of what was once a large river. The female practically shoved her muzzle into the water and lapped up the crystalline substance.

Herclea padded jauntily to the water source beside Yanah and Ajax, excited at the prospect of water. The little golden pup had to restrain herself from splashing into the river and instead lapped up as much as she could drink and then some. With a sight of satisfaction she sat back to watch the others. She didn't like the Lycaon wolves, but she supposed she should be thankful, even if Armell had tried to pup-napper her and her brothers.

Usdi stepped up, dry tongue lolling out. He carefully drank from the waters, eyes burning into Armell's fur. He needed someone to take his anger out on, and Armell was the closest to him.
Noquisi padded forward, brushing by Usdi. Noquisi lapped up the water, wincing as the dryness in her throat burned away from not drinking in so long.
Emiko followed suit by drinking some of the precious liquid, never before realizing how much she needed it. Emiko nodded her thanks to Lya, Yanah, and Ahava for arranging this.

Armell noticed the small pup who was trying to shoot her with his eyes and grinned at him. Leaning close she whispered, "Didn't your father ever tell you to watch out for crazy wolves? We eat pups by the bushel." Leaning away from him she cackled, for some reason a random burst of insanity lapsing through her barrier. It ended quickly, however, and she returned to watching Kylarad.
Yanah stepped up to the water and lowered her head to drink, lapping up water thirstilly. Muddy or not, it was the only water she'd had in days. She was careful to savor it, swallowing as much as she could while still wetting her mouth thoroughly.
Ajax ran up beside his sister and began the same frenzied drinking that most of the other wolves were doing, gasping for breath as he tried to suck in water and breathe at the same time.

Lya couldn't help but stare at Armell cackling. What was up with that? She could only wonder, but it seemed to be directed at Usdi. She hoped Armell hadn't said anything vulgar to him. He was only a pup, after all. There was no telling. Trying to predict that wolf would be time consuming and pointless. Speaking of time consuming, she had wasted some of her drinking time by lifting her head. She plunged her muzzle into the stream and began to lap it up quickly. The refreshing substance immediantly seemed to have a soothing effect on her throat.
Lya cut her eyes to one side and observed her packmates while still drinking. She did the same for the other side. She was very grateful that Lycaon had allowed them to drink here. Despite their previous rivalry, they had begun forming a bond after this proposal. She just hoped her packmates wouldn't get out of control, for it may cut off their water supply. She really felt for Yanah, seeing as her pups were captured and held for ransom.
Then, another thought hit Lya. Where was the pup's father? She knew Apricus had died, but what about Helios? Perhaps he had died, or possibly dispersed from Lycaon. Whatever the matter, she truly hoped he didn't come back. It would release complete and utter havoc. She just imagined the golden wolf playing the 'desperado' act on Yanah. She began to hope he did die.

Ahava arrived at the river, looking around. Like everything else at the tine, the once flourished river was now muddy, but what did it matter? Both packs were parched. She now moved foward, glancing at the others to see if it was alright to drink, and did so, bending her head down to lap at the water. It was very awkward to her, being with Lycaon as she noted the behaviors between their pack and hers. Anyway, it was great to feel quenched again.

Usdi looked at the sick form laughing like a hyena in front of him. He leaned in close, and with as much venom as he could manage, replied, "I have no father. Did anyone ever tell you that your laugh sounds like an overweight bird?"
Swishing his tail in finality, Usdi padded away to the back of the group, ready to leave.

Armell flicked an ear, not expecting the reply but at the same time unaffected. He was a pup, why should she care what he said? Besides, the fact that she had gotten to him was enough.
Yanah finally stepped back, her thirst mostly satisfied. Dipping her head, she said, "Thank you. It's good that we can forget our differences in times like these and come together. Tomorrow you may drink at our lake." She glanced around, feeling a pang of sadness when she didn't see Helios' golden face in the surrounding wolves. It was just as well though, it would never work.

Ahava too got up not soon after Yanah did. She looked at her and then Armell kindly and nodded in agreement before backing up a little from the river.

As much as she didn't want to, Lya had to stop drinking some time. The female relinquished herself from the flow, hoping she was quenched and could wait a couple of days. More so, she worried about her pack. They all had taken drinks, but would they all go insane? If one of the pack's water sources dried up, it would mean sharing water. Once the other's water was diminished, they would either have to leave the place they called home, or die. Lya tried not to think such things, but they wiggled into her mind every moment or so.
(Lame RP post is lame, sorry.)

((Aaaaaand moving this along. Astra where are you?!?!?))
Yanah rose and looked over her pack. "We've overstayed our welcome. Let's go guys," she announced, turning to leave but waiting so that she was last. She didn't want anyone to try and stay behind for more water.
Ajax stumbled back from the water, panting. He felt for the most part refreshed, his thirst now satisfied. A small bounce in his step, he trotted after his mother.

"Okay, thank you so much," Ahava nodded to the Lycaon wolves before unintentionally taking the lead, not noticing how Yanah had purposely fallen behind.
ooc; why do we need astra? I don't mean this by saying I don't want her; I'm just wondering o3o///
