Astra lies down in the center, still feeling horrible about what happened with Wohali. I didn't mean to hurt him! It was just a friendly joke! Now he definatly hates me... Astra sighs and watches the river flow. She slowly falls asleep.

Noquisi pads up, and sees Astra sleeping. I'd better be quiet about this, she thinks. She pads over to all the berry bushes and studies them. One, two, three and four. I count four berry bushes that are harmful to the pack. She sniffs around the bottom of the bushes, and kicks all the bad berries into the river. She then digs up the roots of the bushes careful not to damage them, and carries three of them into the edge of the cove. She drops them on the ground, and kicks dirt over them, and makes sure none of the colorful, but deadly berries are visible to a pups eye. She then carries the fourth bush back to her den, because you never know when you might need poison.

Apricus trotted to the edge of the river, nose low to the ground scenting for the small game that liked to lurk benethe the tangled roots of the berry bushes. As it turns out, prey didn't like to nest under the berry bushes. After a few minutes of sniffing, this was apparent and Apricus decided to move on, making a mental note that all one can find at berry cove is berries.

Lya trotted into the berry cove, taking note of Apricus' leaving. She found this place so beautiful, the rushing water spraying the ferns and the berries. She fell into a deep, comfortable sleep.

Now Wohali was on the escape again. Why do they always have to interfere? he thought exasperatedly. He was quite enjoying himself watching the heron. Wohali was getting into the habit of hanging out with other animals, even if he couldn't understand them. Maybe there's a Barred owl around here? I always thought those were cool. So he was on the lookout for owls while he ambled through Berry Cove.

Andraste walked in from the circle of oaks and saw the wolf from earlier. 'He looked upset, maybe i shouldnt go talk to him.' She thought and let him continue. She walk over to the small stream and nibbled on a berry she knew was safe. After some time Andraste noticed it looked like the clouds were going to open up on her so she got up and started to pad off to her den.

Andraste lead Vilk through Berry Cove. She took the indirect path, to teach weaving and jumping. She ran quickly making sharp turns and moving her body to bend with the empty bushes. When it came to the small stream she didn't slow down instead she sped up. Then at the edge she jumped the stream and landed gracefully on the other side. She turned back to check up on Vilk and then ran on, faster than before.

Vilk wasnt getting too tired, but he slowed behind Andraste, in order to watch her. He folowed her moves as she went along, and almost hit her when she slowed, probably to check on him. He noticed her increase in speed, and followed it.

Lya came in from the direction of the oaks. Though it was still winter, some mosses still were left, the stragglers. The little nests were formed by moss and depressions in the ground, and Lya quickly took to one. The moss sunk with her weight, and was a cushion to her wounds. What a relief. Savoring the comfort, the she-wolf curled up loosely, and fell into a well-deserved slumber.

Yanah seemed to materialize out of no where a few yards away. Seein that Lya was sleeping, the Satrap sat quietly to wait. The poor wolf deserved some rest, but Yanah had to know what Lya had been trying to say before lapsing into unconsciousness. With nothing better to do, she began licking the wound on her shoulder.

Now, Lya was a pretty sensitive wolf. After a few minutes she woke up, afraid for her life. She knew shew was being watched. In her currently damaged state, she was in to battle, but she turned anyway.
"Oh... Hi, Yanah!" Lya acknowledged, sleeping. She stifiled a yawn.

Yanah didn't say anything, merely stared at Lya for a moment. After a while she asked, "What were you trying to say? You fainted, but you said my name first. What do you know?" The fear and crawling akin had left her, leaving behind a numbness that seemed to envelope her entire body. It no longer scared her if they knew, even though they probably didn't. It was painful that Lya was the first to find out though.

"Dynataa had said you and some wolf had been seeing eachother. However I doubt the little conniving thing was telling the truth." Lya answered, not seeing the alarm in Yanah. Sleepiness blinded her.

Yanah's gaze hardened and she looked away, refusing to meet Lya's eyes. "Perhaps she was lying," she said quietly, sounding completely guilty.
