"O-oh... Sorry if I caught you at the wrong moment... We could talk about this later if you want," Ahava breathed, seeing that she had indeed caught Yanah at the wrong moment. She took a deep breath and continued. "I've noticed that Emiko was causing trouble. On the Satraps particularly... I know it was only twice, but do you think it could be on purpose? Or could it be all about Kaeso? Um... Either way, I think it should be dealt with. None of our packmates deserve this stress," she finished quickly. Maybe she was making a bigger deal of this than it really was because nobody else seemed to notice, but she just had to say it anyway.

Yanah took a deep breath before she even thought about replying. It was true- the Tiritus was overstepping boundaries. "Lya has her own slightly selfish reasons for being mad at her," she began, her voice trembling with the effort of keeping calm. "But she has disrespected and threatened me- something I refuse to tollerate. I suggest you, I and Lya hold a conference about this. We must stay open minded, but my outlook on Emiko is not good. This isn't just about Kaeso anymore." She held Ahava's gaze for a moment before approaching the elk and tearing a chunk off it's haunch. She favored the chewy meat, unusual since most wolves opted for the rich stomach. Devouring her portion, she say to the side and observed her pack.
Ajax nodded, his tail wagging furiously. "We'll be great and take down a huge one!" He boasted, prancing around his sister with his tail in the air.

"I know!" said Heraclea as a sudden idea struck her, "let's play hunting! You be the elk and I'll hunt you." She didn't wait for his consent before tackling to the ground and nipping his throat softly.

"Y-yes," Ahava nodded, still aware that Yanah was trying hard to stay calm. She took a small step back before ripping a chunk of deer for herself as well.

Usdi, head held high as he realized that he had helped bring down the elk, dipped his head into the open stomach, selecting his choice of the meat, stomach grumbling loudly. "Thank you, everyone!" He called, settling down with his piece under a tree.
Noquisi's eyes narrowed, just realizing something. She padded up to the Satraps, stones in her stomach. "Sorry to interrupt... But... Has anyone seen Brianos lately?" She asked, wondering where the new wolf had gone. Surely he wouldn't have disappeared before proper induction, would he?

"Oh, hello, Noquisi," Ahava turned and smiled to face the approaching wolf. "Oh... Brianos? No, I haven't seen him. I can help you look later, if you want."

Not wanting to seem overly worried about Brianos, Noquisi shook her head. "No, I just meant... He seemed really excited to join, and now is nowhere to be found. Didn't he go looking for someone and leave the Circle of Oaks?" She asked, the memory slipping through her thoughts like sand through her paws.

Yanah decided to let them talk and backed away. There was too much going on at the moment for her to worry about the adventures of a barely grown adult who had just joined them. No, there were things to think about like Emiko's blackmail and Lya's breakdown. Speaking of which.. She approached Lya shakily, the rage wearing off but still there. "You and I need to talk. It's urgent," she whispered in her colleague's ear, her eyes darting to and fro as though she expected Emiko to appear out of no where and expose her to everyone. It was hard to believe the young wolf had turned so sour. Perhaps her family in the mountains had been a bad influence.

Lya's ears perked as Yanah whispered to her. Talk about what? She was confused at first as to what, but eventually she knew. Emiko. That was the only thing that made sense. Had Emiko done something else? Yanah's tone of voice sounded very urgent, she hoped nothing horrible had happened.
She heard Noquisi's question, about Brianos. She had wondered that herself, but it seemed pretty insignificant to Yanah's request. She gave a slight nod to her and looked at Noquisi with a frown. Maybe Brianos just didn't belong. Lya shook these thoughts and cut her eyes to Yanah and began in the direction of the Oaks.

Noquisi knew that she should probably leave the Satraps alone, but the fact of the lack of attention paid to a missing member of the pack, even if they weren't officially inducted, was unsettling. If any of Yanah's pups or if anyone else important in the pack went missing, they would surely be more worried. What if something bad had happened to him? If they just ignored this, maybe it would come back to bite them all later. "I'm going to go look." She mumbled, trotting away. Noquisi was starting to burn slightly with annoyance. When Armel kidnapped Yanah's pups, everyone in the pack was in an uproar, and now that they couldn't find a previously excited wolf that wanted to join immediately, they ignored it. Something just didn't feel right. Brianos wanted to join and he knew that he belonged. And now that he was gone... Well, Noquisi knew that something was up.

Ahava thought for a moment. "I don't know. I'm really sorry," she said, ducking her head lightly. Then she spotted that Yanah and Lya were about to have the very same discussion that she had brought up just minutes ago. Without her. Why was she so unimportant. She let this really get to her; she felt hurt, but she wouldn't cry or pout or anything like that over it. But that didn't mean the feeling wasn't gone. Didn't they trust her? Surely so... Should she follow? Yes. She looked at Noquisi with apology in her eyes. "Um, Noquisi. I need to go... Please forgive me for leaving so quickly." Once again she bowed her head, turned around, and followed the other Satraps.

Yanah shot Noquisi an apologetic glance before following after Lya. Some things were just too important, and finding Brianos wasn't one of them.
Ajax made what he thought was a good elk noise, but sounded like a bird smacking into a tree. He turned and buck kicked at his sister crazily, making his elk noises all the while.

Heraclea yelped as one of Ajax's flailing limbs crashed into her chin, causing her to bite her tongue. Spitting out tongue blood she said, "you're gonna pay for that one!" and launched herself at her brother. Diving under him, she used her broad shoulders to toss him a couple (foxlengths?) away where he landed in the dry grass. "Hah," she said triumphantly.

Ajax went flying and landed with a thud, where he lay unmoving in the grass on his back. C'mon... he thought, remaining as still as possible. Just a bit closer. He could take her by surprise if she was only just a bit closer.
((Try not to god mod. i.e. Saying in your post that my character went flying so that I can't possibly put that he dodged. Just saiyan :3 ))

Heraclea was still celebrating when she noticed Ajax wasn't moving. Her stomach tightened and she heard blood rushing in her ears. She hadn't thrown him that hard! She glanced around, looking for anyone that might punish her, but all the grown ups were so wrapped up in their drama they didn't even notice the motionless pup. Shakily, Heraclea approached her brother. "Ajax?" she asked timidly, prodding his limp form with her nose.
