Astra pads in to the grove. She gazes at the beautiful flowers. This would be a wonderful place for pups! I wonder what it would be like to have pups... Astra started to wish for a family of her own. She tried to imagine her very own pups! But to have pups, I would need a mate. What male would want me? Astra continues to watch the flowers. She started to feel deathly cold. A halucination everything darkened except the flowers. The flowers started to whisper. "You will never have pups. You will never find anybody" Astra heard laughter and it rang through the forest. She saw the dead wolf again. The flowers started to wilt and she passed out.

Yanah tread through the grove, nimbly stepping over each low hanging branch. The surrounding laurel left a sweet scent in the air, and it wreathed around her as she plod on. She reached the fringe of the forest, where the trees and plants grew sparse. Casting a glance over her shoulder, she wondered if she should tell them where she was going. Yanah turned away from her home and rolled her shoulders. It didn't matter, she was coming back anyway. Leaving the tree cover, Yanah began the journey to Mt. Unole.

Lya nimbly stalked though the mountain laurel bushes, until the mouse finally came into sight, she slowly progressed towards it, she almost had it... and then she stepped on a twig. The rodent exploded into speed, and Lya followed close behind and stepped on its tail. She delivered a bite to its tiny top right limb, swung it around, and let go and sent it flying into a tree. It squeaked pitifully and she bit its neck, killing it. She felt kind of sorry, the way she killed the little thing. Ignoring her consience(sp?) Lya ate the mouse.

Wohali strolled around laurel grove, enjoying himself. How he loved being alone with no one around to bother him. Sure, he can get lonely. But very rarely. I COULD go play a prank on Astra... He pondered whether he would trick her, and how he would trick her. Nah. She would probably go sobbing to Ahava. Not that he cared. Wohali just snickered to himself, ambling around laurel grove.

Ahava trotted near Laurel Grove and immediately spotted a rabbit. She shifted sideways so she was facing the rabbit's back. She then leaped on the rabbit's back and it went limp because of how much larger Ahava was. Ahava then sat down under a tree and began to chew on it thoughtfully. Come to think of it, I've changed a lot now that I'm a Satrap. I used to be timid, fragile, and shy, but now I'm more of a leader and I'm not as shy or fragile anymore. Oh yeah, I also hated the rain and water, and now I love them!, she thought with an internal chuckle. Passing these unimportant thoughts aside, she finished her rabbit and headed towards the Satrap's den.

Andraste padded into the grove from the lake and sniffed the air. She looked around and saw nothing at first, but she had smelled rabbit. She stood still and quieted her breathing. Her ears perked slightly as a small twig snapped. Her head turned every so slightly and out of the side of her eye she saw a rabbit. The wind being in her favor she crouched down and quietly made her way to the rabbit. About a foot away a twig snapped, the rabbit looked back and saw her. She bolted after the rabbit and the chase began. She turned a tree and tripped. She fell and landed on her paw wrong. Slowly getting up from her fall she saw the rabbit only a few feet away she had been so close. But giving up the hunt, Andraste walked off to the Circle of Oaks, stretching out her paw, wondering what the others where up to.

Noquisi sniffed along the ground, under plants and rocks. To her dismay, all her precious herbs had died in the frost, and she sighed, sitting down on a clump of weeds. She looked around the forest, watching a squirrel climb down the tree near her. It spotted her before she could capture it, and it darted up the tree trunk. Stomach growling, she padded away into the flowers, returning not long after with a nice rabbit. She tucked into the still-warm creature. Noquisi, now finished her meal, licked her jaws and lurched to her paws, heading into the forest again.
